    « PLAYER INFORMATION »

      Name: Tai
      Are you over 18?: Y
      Contact: PM
Other characters, if any: Nyx Ulric

    « CHARACTER INFORMATION »

      Character: Crow
      Canon: Destiny 2
Canon point: The end of Season of the Chosen
      OU or AU?: OU
Age: Several centuries old, also a few years old and physically in his thirties (It's Complicated)
Awoken are formerly humans that have gained what amounts to ageless life after being taken beyond the edge of the universe. On top of that, while Crow has no memory of his previous Awoken life as Uldren Sov, he is now effectively immortal thanks to the Traveler. So he's really old but not that old either.
      Species: Guardian/Awoken

      Disposition:
Crow is curious about the world around him and constantly seeks to understand how it works. In this manner he's more like a warlock, Guardians known to be studious and always questioning things; it's little surprise he takes an immediate liking to fellow exile and warlock Osiris. Part of the reason he's curious is because he simply does not know about the world; he was born without anyone else other than his Ghost, Glint, to explain it to him. Anyone he approached either treated him with anger or a palpable sense of grief, making him believe it was better to handle matters alone. That being said, when presented with new information he does his best to absorb it and, if allowed, to ask questions to better understand it. He's also extremely observant, watching the world around him with a sharp eye. He's able to figure out the best way to kill an entity that exists in two dimensions at once by observing its movements and actions.

That being said, his curiosity is tempered by caution. As mentioned, he has primarily been treated as an outlet for rage (often resulting in his own temporary death), or the subject of grief and people crying. He's learned it's better to keep his face hidden when speaking to others, and is endlessly grateful for people who treat him at face value, like The Guardian, Osiris, and Zavala. On top of that, the first person he accepted help from, Spider, ended up using him and placing a bomb inside Glint, whom he considers the reason he kept going at first. Due to this, he approaches new situations carefully.

In general, this means he is quiet, letting Glint handle the talking when presented with new things. Once he realizes he is in no danger, or can avoid 'causing' danger to himself, he'll open up a bit more and begin asking questions. Crow is also exceedingly kind; in part this is due to his inquisitive and curious nature, and how Glint first treated him as well. This is also because he wants to distance himself from the person he was before his first death as much as possible.

Crow has gleaned through interactions with others that his previous self was a cruel person who caused a lot of pain and grief to others. Guardian culture is one where you don't speak or ask about your previous life, so he doesn't know he was Uldren Sov or his name. However he's resolved not to be the type of person to cause pain or anger in others if he can help it. He's taken to heart that he's been "reforged in the light" for a better purpose. This also means he views people who refuse to help those in need in a negative light. The few times he's managed to be cruel, like pointing out Sagira's death to Osiris during an argument, he's backed down.

Underneath the inquisitiveness is also a smart sense of humor, managing to tease people he's comfortable around - The Guardian is a frequent target of his jokes, and Glint bears the brunt of it, on top of encouraging him. He's also, like any young person, stubborn and a bit of a smartass on top of it. He believes in doing what's right, to the point that he seems to ignore advice from more learned Guardians who tend to act cautiously. His smartassery tends to show up when he can't hold his tongue against a snarky comment. Before, that would have earned him trouble from Spider; now, he's learned it's safe to speak up. He's also the type to act when it's needed versus hesitating; he knows revealing himself to Zavala will have repercussions but saving him is the more important choice. He does this twice, as a matter of fact, both times that there are attempts on Zavala's life.

He still has some resentment and bitterness about the way he was treated when he was first reborn, though he actively works against letting this fester inside himself. It also makes him sympathetic to people with negative pasts or associations; he's one of the staunch defenders of the House of Light Eliksni, to the point he even threatens humans who are trying to hurt them (though under cover and careful to not reveal his identity).

Suitability: Crow loves learning about new people, first off. The amount of information available in Noctium would probably make his head spin, as well as the general populace, but in the best kind of way. He'd handle the growing political unrest with understanding, due to the situation surrounding his rebirth. Crow soaks up positive affirmation like a sponge, so I imagine that'd extend to physical and social affirmation as well and he'd take to Synchrony quickly, though he'd be wary of deeper bonds at first.

While he'd struggle a bit with being brought down to normal in terms of death - he relied on the ability to come back from it for some of his more daring or brash actions - he'd also appreciate having new powers to play around with, and people who aren't Guardians to talk to about them.

Basically, the man would do great with some positive CR, hugs, sex and affection, and would even be interested in the growing political scene and underground. He also loves trying new food. Please feed him.

      Condition upon arrival: Stable, healthy

Abilities: Crow, like his other Destiny compatriots, has the ability to wield Light. He's a Hunter by nature, and unlike Warlocks or Titans, his Light tends to lend itself towards precision attacks, stealth, and traps.

He can generally create and throw either a grenade or a trigger trap, a thrown melee weapon (usually a knife), an empowered melee ability, and finally a super ability that allows him to unleash a devastating attack. He also has a specific ability as a hunter that allows him to "dodge", moving quickly enough to evade incoming attacks, including bullets. Finally, his movement ability is unlike a Titan or a Warlock's; instead of gliding, Hunter's can jump up to three times on nothing but air, and arrest a rapid fall simply by jumping before they hit the ground, taking no damage. All of these have natural cooldown times, and all require Manna in game to utilize.

He canonically uses Solar light, though he has access to all three subclasses (Void, and Arc). This means he favors the traps, knives, and gunslinging Solar abilities. It's worth noting that Crow spent the first while of his new life not knowing how to fully form his abilities, so he's still in the 'practicing with it' stage.

Outside of his Light abilities, Crow is a capable hunter and trapper, able to sneak in and out of dangerous places, assess situations quickly, and lay traps specific to his targets. He's also responsible for the creation of of the Cryptolith Lure, showing an affinity for tinkering with Hive and Eliksni mechanisms.

His Ghost, Glint's, healing abilities have similarly been nerfed - while he can heal small injuries, he can't heal grievous ones or bring Crow back from the dead anymore. He also had the bomb Spider put in him removed well before their canonpoint. It's worth noting the Ghost can function as an environmental scanner and hacking device, though he will find difficulty in adjusting his abilities to the new architecture (basically: he can only scan people with player permission, and he can't hack or scan into anything important without either player permission or plot/engagement setting permission).
